Last night I popped in an old favorite: the May 1992 mix of Garcia/Grisman at the Warfield. We all know this show, it’s a great soundboard recording of two legendary friends playing great folk tunes. I remember when I first received a copy of this back in 1994 or 1995. I played it to death, so much that I almost forgot about it.

I have very few recordings of the Dead after 1990, but Jerry was fantastic at this string of shows. His old, tired voice along with Grisman’s mandolin just fit so nice.

So how about a big old round of applause for Jerry and Dog at the Warfield in 1992!!!!! Break it out, I know you have it, and give it a big ‘ol listen again.

It’s feel good music….

Ooh! Good call Scrimmy! Perfect selection for gift wrapping and bopping around in preparation for "the other fat-man".

Jerry Christmas Everybody!

ALSO, don't miss Garcia/Grisman 12-8-91. If memory serves, a 9+ minute 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Jam' awaits an opportunity to caress your auditory canals...
